Helmut Waldhuber
LIGHT
Helmut
Waldhuber is a lighting designer who was born in Austria but attained
his qualifications in lighting engineering in Auckland. He has been
involved in high-end residential projects and in small and large scale
commercial projects from concept stores to civic squares in New Zealand
and overseas. Recent projects in New Zealand include his contribution to
the lighting design of the Aotea Centre project - while working as a
designer for LDP Ltd (Lighting Design Partnership). He will talk about
design principles and how best to integrate sustainability in lighting
design.
David Fullbrook
HEAT
Dave Fullbrook
has over 30 years experience as a building services and sustainable
design specialist. He is the leading proponent for energy efficient and
sustainable design for commercial, residential, and public buildings in
New Zealand. Dave will talk about sustainable practices in heating and
ventilation and air conditioning bringing a sense of admiration and
excitment to those otherwise unwanted and unloved ducts and pipes.
Dr Clare Diaper
WATER
Dr Diaper is a Melbourne based
research scientist with over 15 years experience in the water
industry in both Australia and Europe. Dr Diaper's
presentation is about water servicing options and how these systems
integrate with urban planning and building design principles. Clare
will discuss the factors that need to be considered when proposing
alternatives to traditional water servicing in relation to planning
and building design, illustrated by a number of case studies.
