A co2 sensor is a component that is used to measure the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. When there is too much or too little carbon dioxide, theco2 sensor will sound an alarm and people will take corresponding measures to adjust the air quality in time to meet their requirements. The first category: Infrared co2 sensors
This type of sensor uses the principle of non-dispersive infrared to detect co2 in the air, with good selectivity, does not depend on oxygen, and is used in various situations where flammable and explosive gases exist
The second type: Catalytic co2 sensors
By converting the field-detected co2 concentration into a standard 4-20mA current signal output, it is used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, oil refining, gas transmission and distribution, biochemical medicine, water treatment and other industries.
The third type: Thermal conductivity carbon dioxide sensor
It is made according to the working principle that the total thermal conductivity of the gas mixture varies with the content of the gas being analyzed. The two arms of the bridge are matched by the detection element and the compensation element. When a combustible gas is encountered, the resistance of the detection element decreases, while when a non-combustible gas is encountered, the resistance of the detection element increases and the output voltage of the bridge is variable and proportional to the expansion of the gas concentration. The compensation element plays the role of reference and temperature compensation. It is mainly used for natural gas, liquefied gas and gases in civil and industrial applications.
